WELCOME to the new JUST A CARD festive season instagram schedule
We’re thrilled to announce our new festive Instagram schedule, which runs from Monday 3rd November at 7am (UK time). You’re warmly invited to be part of it! We’ve worked hard to bring you a consistent structured schedule so you know what’s happening and when in the run up to JUST A CARD - Indie Week, and during the festive season.
The aim is to use the might of the JUST A CARD Instagram page to bring visibility to your work and businesses, and to encourage everyone to take part to encourage people to SHOP INDEPENDENT THIS CHRISTMAS. Instagram is brilliant for marketing and promotion, but engagement is critical to success, so please join in - your success is our success!
Here’s how the weekly schedule works:
We’ll post on our page most weekday mornings at 7am (GMT), sticking to the structured themes on the image above, and explained below. This consistent schedule means you know we’re here, so you can join in, and take part.
Every comment, like, save, or share boosts not just the campaign, but your visibility too. It’s a win-win! Please make visiting the JUST A CARD Instagram page part of your daily routine, and also add JUST A CARD to your favourites. Together we’ll keep spreading the JUST A CARD message. Even the smallest actions make a big difference.
PLEASE NOTE: Though these posts are scheduled, chats, updates and announcements will happen flexibly on a more ad hoc basis, in much the same way as before.

MONDAY: Monday Motivation - 100 Shares Challenge
Every Monday we’ll post ‘favourites’ from the campaign gallery, used to spread the ‘shop small, support independents’ message, and SHOP INDEPENDENT THIS CHRISTMAS. Your mission is to get it shared 100+ times. First and foremost JUST A CARD is a campaign to raise awareness about how vital and valuable all sales are. The message works, so go on - share the posts – you can do it!
TUESDAY: ‘Take a Look’ Tuesday
Every Tuesday we’ll encourage you to visit our fabulous Directory. If you’re on it PLEASE introduce yourself (every week!) so people can follow, support and buy from you, and learn more about your amazing work and businesses. Whether you’re listed or not, do get involved. You may even choose to join us someday………..
WEDNESDAY: JUST A CARD Day
Wednesdays are JUST A CARD days. Learn more about JUST A CARD, our pins, stickers, resources - tell others about them and the campaign message. In the run up to JUST A CARD - Indie Week (24 - 28 November) and Indie Friday (28 November) we’ll also post images encouraging people to get involved.

Thursdays are for Thursday thoughts. Thursdays are about flexibility and conversation.
FRIDAY: Friendly Friday
Friendly Friday is back by popular demand! You loved it before, so we’re bringing it back - but with a difference. Every Friday in the run up to Christmas we’re inviting you to share your work, your shops, events, markets and more. Tell everyone what you do. Use this time to support others, follow them, chat, join in and be part of this incredible community. It’s tough out there right now, but the might of the JUST A CARD community is behind you - all for one and one for all! Join in. Have fun. Make friends.
