The Art Rooms showcase the work of its founder, graphic artist Jacky Al-Samarraie. Jacky changed her career direction from social care by returning to college as a mature student to study a degree in graphics. Jacky graduated in 2003 with a first class honours degree.
Jacky developed her design style from her college days into what has now become her signature style of landscapes and cityscapes in silhouette and block colour. She founded The Art Rooms and in 2008 published her designs on greeting cards, then over time she has expanded her collection to include gifts and lifestyle products as well and prints and homeware.
Jacky produces all her products in the UK.
